Shreya's Graduation Day

Kinder Garten Graduation Day for Shreya...a farewell day too...a day to mark our first foot in to Primary classes...and a goodbye to our association with kg...

Every teacher cud be one of the best event managers !! The entire event was well rehearsed,coordinated,organised, !! The tinytots gave us a wonderful entertainment with dancing,singing,skit...

It was lovely to watch Shreya receiving the certificate with the robe and later on transforming in to fairy for one of the programmes...

While we cud have jus hired her costume, we jus wanted to take that little bit of effort to put everything together..which I always enjoy doing...
The white gown was somethig that we found difficult to grab...scouting various shops, atlast we found it at Histyle and good for us, we got it in a SALE !!
Crown-we already had.Footwear at Kobbler sale.Wand and a few accessories frm Toys r us.Wings frm Santosh.Vrinda's earrings completed the entire makeover...

Felt really proud when her pic was shown atleast 5 times,part of the Annual report slide show talking about kids who won prizes in inter school contests..;-)
At the end, while we were leaving,lotta teachers and the Principal were standing at the entrance.Usha mam introduced us to the Principal- This is the Shreya Vijayanand whose name I was repeating again n again in the Annual Report !!
What better intro do we need???

Finally, I almost choked when we bade goodbye to our dear Swapna Miss...A word more, I wud have had tears rolling down..:-(

And more so, when she told Shreya- Do participate in a lotta progs and contests like the way you are doing now.But you don have to worry..Your Mom will take you and encourage you to do...:-) Well, that was one big compliment frm the teacher.

Yes, its a sign of growth, but we will miss all the Fun,Activities,Projects..and most of all our dear down to earth,humble teachers !!

A Day which will be chiseled and etched in memories...A Day which reminds you ,that your kid is growing fast....
